Timeline: Future!fic. In which Tsuna is a badasslong coat.
Sometimes, Gokudera missed the sparkle in Tsuna's eyes when the young men laughed. It never failed to bring a smile to Gokudera's own face. Once when they were all young and stupid and Tsuna smiled, Gokudera thought the world was theirs.
Ten years later, the smile on Tsuna's face was always cold. His eyes didn't light up anymore. Instead, Gokudera saw dark shadows lurking behind tired hazel orbs everytime their eyes met. It made Gokudera feel like turning back time. He wanted to take Tsuna away from the mafia world and elope so they live happily ever after in a small cottage of their own. He smiled bitterly to himself as the thought crossed his mind.
And people thought he only followed Tsuna because the young man was Vongola Decimo.

Dino Cavallone watches the young Vongola boss sleep like a young child who still needs to cuddle his favourite teddy bear to fall asleep. Dried tracks of tears are still present on the latter's cheeks as Dino ghosts his fingers lightly over the smooth surface of Tsuna's skin.
He wants nothing more than to lean down and kiss the sleeping man, but he refrains himself with what's left of his sometimes waning self control.Tsuna doesn't belong to him. Tsuna is someone else's.
All Dino could do is be there for Tsuna when the man needs a shoulder to cry on. Which reminds him...
He really needs to speak to the bastard who made sweet, kind Tsuna cries.
